THE APPROACH
The wedding comes first. The filming works around it.
Alisby films in a calm, observational way. The important parts are planned properly, the sound is taken seriously and the rest of the day is given room to happen.
There is no need to spend the drinks reception repeating the same walk for camera or turning genuine moments into a production schedule. A little direction can be useful; running the wedding is not.
The finished film is built from what was actually there — voices, reactions, movement, atmosphere and the odd bit nobody realised had been caught.

Discreet coverage, properly recorded voices and an edit built around the character of the day rather than a stock sequence of shots.
Genuine Super 8
Real motion-picture film — grain, softness, colour shifts and all. It can sit alongside digital coverage or become a shorter piece in its own right.

Multi-day celebrations, additional filmmakers and destination travel can be added where the wedding genuinely calls for them.
GENUINE SUPER 8
Not a filter pretending to be film
Alisby shoots actual Super 8 motion-picture film. It behaves differently from digital: softer edges, visible grain, shifting colour and the occasional imperfection that makes each roll its own thing.
Used alongside digital footage, it gives parts of the wedding a completely different texture without sacrificing clear sound or the fuller story.
FROM FIRST CALL TO FINAL FILM
You deal directly with the filmmaker
No sales team hands you over once the booking is made. The same person who discusses the wedding with you is involved in planning, filming and shaping the finished work.
That keeps things straightforward and means the person behind the camera already understands what matters to you before the wedding starts.
